After I graduated from the University of Toronto in 1979 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, I worked for the Prudential Insurance Company of America as a Policy Change Analyst, Banking Services Supervisor, and Supervising Mortgage Adminstrator. During this time I earned my Fellow, Life Management Institute (with distinction) with specialization in Administrative Management.
In 1986 I decided to pursue a freelance career. The business side of that has included both volunteer and paid financial work for a variety of charities and non-profit organizations, arts management for music organizations, bookkeeping and audit technician for a chartered accounting firm, as well as income tax and bookkeeping work for a variety of individuals and sole proprietors.
I especially enjoy working with sole proprietors to help them organize the financial aspects of their businesses and give them more time to work on the things that provide income for them.
